New Year Table Decorations Questions Answered!
  1. What kind of stores can you buy table decorations at?

So, my 'sister in law' is trying to find stores or places she can buy some sort of "table decorations" for the reception for her wedding? I have no idea what kind of stores that would be ideal. Any Ideas?

  2. How do I decorate tables for a fire department fundraiser?

We have an annual fund raiser. This is our 25th year of our only fund raiser of the year and would like to do something special with table decorations. Have about 50 tables to decorate so it needs to be inexpensive.

  3. Does anyone know where I can find a haunted house template?

I am looking for an easy 3D haunted house that my kids can make out of card stock. I would like something that they can color and decorate themselves, and then we can cut it out and glue it together to make a table decoration. I found one years ago, but I can't find anything like it now. Do you know of a website that I can print one from? Thanks!

  4. What's the best way to clean rusty old iron keys?

I've bought a load from a junk shop and using them as table decorations but they are covered in rust and grease. What's the best, safest method that won't cause damage. Thanks

  6. Is it rude to tell someone no when asked to babysit because their child is rude, dispreceptful or hates you?

I am curious because my mom's friend had asked to babysit a few weeks ago and I reluctantly said yes (my mom had to bribe me with money, monster energy's and coffee ice cream) The reason I was so reluctant to watch him is because he is very rude and doesn't treat me or my mom with respect in our house. He tells us to shut up and that we are retarded, he cusses at us and is rarely corrected and tells us to shut our traps if he is told not to stand on the kitchen table chairs or not to touch our table decorations. He also told his mom he hates my guts because he knew I wasn't going to let him do what he wanted in my house, use my electronics without asking, let him touch what he wanted or watch the shows he isn't supposed to see. I ended up not watching him because he wanted to go to his neighbor's house cause he didn't want to behave or have to be around me. The thing is I am worried if I refuse to watch her son I might come off as being rude. My mom told me I don't ever have to watch him and she won't expect me to and doesn't want me to have to do it at the cost of being insulted and treated like garbage by a spoiled 7 year old and being sad or angry. If I do tell her no is it rude?? Especially since his behavior is a huge issue when he is over at my house??

He throws fits if I don't let him have my monsters which would not only make him more out of control then he already is, his mom would flip out. mainly on him because he was threatening to drink them even though he isn't allowed and his mom told him if he did it he would be in so much trouble. He has also thrown and fit and cried hysterically because he was told he couldn't use the computer or my new tablet. That was beyond ridiculous.

  8. What are some decorating ideas for an SNL (Saturday Night Live) themed party?

We have a dress-up summer party with an SNL theme this year. I need ideas for table and general decorations . . . . Thanks!

  9. What decorations should I put up for my room?

I am a 16 year old girl and painted my room dark purple with one mint green accent wall. I have a twin bed and a relatively small room. I might want to put a white tree on one of the purple walls but I need bedding and ideas on where to fine decor. Thanks.

  10. What ceramic products would people like to see on the market?

Hello, I have just started making ceramics as a hobby but would like to be able in time, to bring my ideas to larger outlets. At the moment we have many different uses for ceramics whether it is functional table ware, wall decorations, garden sculptures and even dental ware (beautiful porcelain teeth!) . What are you as a consumer looking for in a ceramic product? What would you like to see on the market which is not already out there? Thank you kindly for taking the time to read this and hopefully respond.
